Milly’s is seeking an energetic team member with a passion for customer service and a love of the local community. Experience as a barista and/or customer service preferred but not required.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service: Greeting customers, taking orders, and providing friendly and efficient service.

Barista: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and soda drinks.

Food Prep: Making simple food items to order in a timely manner and at the highest standards. .

Quality Control: Ensuring that all food and drinks meet quality standards in terms of taste, presentation, and temperature.

Menu Knowledge: Having a comprehensive understanding of the menu, including coffee offerings, specialty drinks, and food items.

Cash Handling: Handling cash, processing payments, and operating the cash register or POS system accurately.

Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the work area clean, dishes done, and customer areas clean and sanitized.

Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations..

Knowledge of Equipment: Understanding how to operate espresso machine and basic kitchen appliances.

Training and Development: Continuously improving skills and knowledge through training sessions and staying updated on industry trends and techniques.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
-
Constant standing and walking for duration of shift (very little sitting)

Lifting items up to 50lbs

Frequent use of hands and wrists

Mental processing and problem solving
COMPENSATION
​Starting $19-$22 per hour
